Story

Located within the World Natural Heritage forest in Yambaru National Park, this is the only resort hotel at the northernmost tip of Okinawa. The hotel was built entirely by Vietnamese technicians as a symbol of friendship between Okinawa and Vietnam, with all building materials and furnishings transported from Vietnam. During the grand opening ceremony, a reception was held with the Vietnamese Ambassador to Japan and the Director of the International Bureau of the Hai Phong People’s Committee in attendance. This prestigious hotel is surrounded by the Yambaru forest, home to a diverse array of wildlife, including the Okinawa Rail and many other endangered species. Guests can enjoy a luxurious blend of adventure and relaxation, experiencing the rich nature and encounters with rare creatures.

The Miraculous Forest Brimming with Rare Creatures

The biodiversity of the Yambaru forest is astounding. Despite covering less than 0.1% of Japan’s total area, it is home to about half of Japan’s bird species and roughly a quarter of its native frog species, forming a unique ecosystem.

Many endemic species, not found anywhere else, inhabit this forest, including the Okinawa Rail, Noguchigera, Ryukyu Robin, Namie Frog, and the Yambaru Long-armed Scarab. Restaurant

For dinner, we offer our special dish which you can enjoy: a melt-in-your-mouth hamburger steak made from 100% Wagyu and local beef. Free from common allergens such as wheat, eggs, dairy, and breadcrumbs, this dish is safe for children with allergies. The coarse-ground domestic beef combined with finely ground Wagyu which brings out a smooth texture and rich flavorful hamburger steak. Savor the exquisite melting sensation of this concentrated umami hamburger steak. Breakfast includes a Japanese meal set, and the water served is pure spring water straight from the foot of Mount Ibe.
